Plans for re-opening Ocean Backpackers!

Ocean Backpackers will be following strict Government guidance on when it is safe to re-open again following the Corona Virus pandemic. At present, the earliest date given is 4th July 2020 for the hospitality industry but we will wait to see if this applies to Youth Hostels and are very aware that this date is flexible!

When it is deemed safe by the Government for us to re-open, please rest assured that we will be incorporating a new strict Standard Operating Procedure so that we adhere to all the current Government guidelines put in place to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy if you book directly through our website following the “BOOK NOW” icon-so please feel free to book your stay today and if your booking no longer becomes an option following the latest Government guidance – we will cancel it free of charge!

Many changes are being adopted at the Hostel including some private rooms being available to book for single use so that we can still support and accomodate the independent traveller! Unfortunately, due to social distancing restrictions-we will not be able to offer dorm beds in shared dorms until further notice.
