Devon Coast To Coast

Congratulations to Beechencliff school who stayed with us for the third consecutive year on Friday and headed off on the Devon(coast to coast) NCN Route 27 from Ilfracombe to Plymouth bright and early on Saturday morning. A stunning ride along old railway tracks and through the Granite Way…this cycle ride can be done in a day or break it up with a stay at Okehampton YHA for a rest on-route!

We recently discovered a company called ‘Devonbybike.’ They can offer a taxi service for cyclists and their bikes from Barnstaple train station to us (providing it is prior arranged with them) so if you arrive by train late- its a great alternative to cycling to us!

They can even pick up you and your bikes in Plymouth and bring you back to Ilfracombe if you don’t want to cycle back again!!!

Once back from your cycle challenge you might want to take the time to explore our Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and all that Ilfracombe and North Devon have to offer.
