Christmas is approaching!!

We have had a great season here at Ocean Backpackers and it has been so nice to welcome back so many familiar faces along with meeting new guests from all over the world!! Becca, our manager has settled in really well and we are really pleased to say that she is coming back next year after we take a short break from December 12th to February 8th 2018! Many thanks to her and also to our fabulous Help Exchange volunteers this year who do a great job of making sure the Hostel is always clean and tidy!!

There is some decorating to be done as always in our winter break but we are very excited to be planning ahead to attract more schools and large groups to the Backpackers next year! We have teamed up with local eateries so we will be delighted to offer a self-serve breakfast for large groups, along with a pre-ordered packed lunch and an evening meal served in relaxed restaurant surroundings!

We cannot wait for the new Water Sports Centre …with building set to start in Spring 2018. This means there will be a dedicated slip way making it safer for watersports to take place around the Harbour area! With the abundance of things to see and do around our beautiful town-we really are the ideal location for your next vacation! See you soon!
