New manager required for 2019!

A vacancy has arisen for Manager of Ocean Backpackers, Ilfracombe from 1st March until November 2019. This is a fantastic live-in position for anyone who loves Hostel life and has all the skills necessary for this exciting post.

Shifts are generally from 9am-midday and 4pm-10pm with 1 1/2 to 2 days off per week (mainly weekdays.) All aspects of health and safety, risk assessments and future bookings are undertaken by the owners who live off site, leaving the Manager free to concentrate on offering a superb service to all our guests in a very clean, friendly and homely enviroment.

Excellent customer service skills and experience of working in the Hospitality sector is essential. A DBS check will be required prior to the start date. This job involves a lot of bed making/cleaning so good health and a willingness to maintain high standards is essential. Full training will be given and the successful candidate will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team. Ilfracombe is a beautiful place to live and the new manager will be able to embrace coastal life in this fabulous seaside resort!
